Well done my fellow family members! I am overjoyed with seeing you progress towards one of the many destinations we are going to in our future.
I have earned 30 more miles for the month of April from conditioning in the evenings. The conditioning is separate from my practices.
Healthy Changes Include:
vitamins (daily)
smoothies (they're not necessarily healthy when you get them from Smoothie King) ;)
walks
reading more
eating 3 healthy meals with a small snack in between
eating less sugar
drinking less soda
cleaning up your messes after you make them

March Madness
It is hot and I am thirsty. My hair continues to fro. But I will not deter from my destination. March was long, long, long. I continue to follow the stars that are leading me to Hawaii. I have my trusty pig Marv who is on this journey with me. He is not looking forward to Hawaii, because they eat a lot of pig there. When he is naughty I call him bacon.
I also have with me my rusty but trustworthy sextant that has help navigate and follow the constellations that are leading me to the islands (I am studying constellations right now, guys).
Quiz question, do you know what a sextant is? (NO Googling, Auntie).
I have logged 500 miles this month. I haven't been doing better with my water. I like to live on the edge of dehydration, but I am doing conditioning night. To be fair, helping chase after the Evanator should catapult all the way passed the Hawaiian Islands.
Mom and Dad are tired but Mom is drinking more healthy drinks and lots more water and no dairy. Her diet has earned her some miles. :) My parents get a combined 200 miles.
We are so close to Hawaii, we will be there by MAY!!!!

February Fantastic Fun Adventures and A New Traveler
February arrived quietly and exploded on February 10 with the arrival of Pacific Tropical Storm EVA that capsized my boat!! Despite the wonderful excitement of a new baby sister aka Tropical Storm EVA, I managed to keep up my pace towards the tropical shores of Hawaii. (I wish this was for real right now, because it is dark and grey and cold here). Back to my imagination. It is so sunny and there is a gentle tropical breeze cooling my frizzy afro. (It's also very humid and I didn't pack my hair product and hair iron).
I have managed to log another 380 miles this month and am now a third of the way from Hawaii! I will buy hair gel when I get there. Until then, I will proudly wear my afro and sing "How Far I'll Go" while head toward distant islands. (Mom says I look like Moana).

January Progress through the Pacific
I, Graceanna, travelled 500 miles in the month of January. Yay me! Most of my miles come from gymnastics and meets but also conditioning that I do everyday. If you don't know what your workout is worth, look at the challenge page I emailed everyone in October.
My goal for February is to get miles from my healthy habits like:
DRINKING MORE WATER!!!! It is hot out here in the middle of the Pacific. :)
Oh! Gotta go! A seal just popped his head out of the water to say hi on his way to the Puget Sound. I named him Gerald. He shall be my friend.

Leaving Puget Sound and Heading for Hawaii!
We have departed!
We are navigating the Puget Sound and the orcas that play there and heading toward the open sea where we will soon traverse the dangerous and exciting waters of the Pacific Ocean in our journey to reach Hawaii by June 1st.
We are taking a direct route to the Hawaiian Islands which is approximately 2350 miles.

HEALTH AND SURPRISES:
I'd like to through in a little surprise for you guys. Each one of you guys will get a surprise at the very end of this healthy journey together. Some will have the same surprise because of what they love and some will have different surprises. I can assure that each of you will get a fun surprise besides MAYBE going to Hawaii for the Christmas of 2017.
Hello, fellow family members!!!!!
Sorry, that I have not posted in a while. I hope you guys are progressing well. Make sure to eat lots of fruits and veggies. My opinion is that you should set a goal for how many miles you should get in before Christmas. You should set little itty bitty goals for the time being. Like setting a goal for each week or even a few days. If you can, try going for run in the morning to get you warmed up for the day. Don't forget to compliment at least 1 person each day. It will always make someone feel good. It might not mean anything to you, but it will probably mean a lot to the person or people who got that compliment. It could be as simple as "I like your shirt." Btw, writing letters to each other can be counted as miles. Each letter counts as 2 miles. Texts do not count as "letters."
Make sure to email me your miles so I can keep track. You guys are doing fantastic! Keep up the good work! Just to remind you, my email is sara.graceanna@gmail.com (without caps or spaces)
Love, Gracie :)
